Kids & Students

Kids programming for nursery-5th grade is available during each of our worship services. You can pre-register your children for a quick and smooth check in process, or follow the signs to the Kids Check In station upon your arrival. A friendly volunteer will greet you and get your info to securely check in your kids and get you where you need to go.

Middle School students have their very own service during the 11:30AM service in our Student Room.

ANSWERS

Be sure to stop at Guest Services in the back of our auditorium to get all your questions answered and allow us to greet you with a gift!

WHAT DO SUNDAY MORNINGS LOOK LIKE?

Our services are about an hour long. The music style is best described as contemporary. We pray together, our members contribute to an offering, take communion, and hear a message that helps us to apply what we learn from  God's word, the Bible.

WHAT IS COMMUNION?

Communion is for believers.
During communion a plate of crackers and small cups of juice are passed, in remembrance of the body and blood of Christ, and His sacrifice on the cross.

WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS New hope?

New Hope is an independent, nondenominational church affiliated with the Christian Churches/Church of Christ.
We strive to make growing disciples of Jesus Christ by being a church that loves God, loves others, and serves both.

ARE THERE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN?

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids birth through 5th grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. Middle School students have a service during the 11:30AM service.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry. Every leader who volunteers in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, fun environment for your kids.

what We Believe

  1. GOD:  God is three equal persons called the trinity: God the Father, Jesus the Messiah and the Holy Spirit.  All are of one essence: eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing and loving (Gen. 1 & John 1).

  2. JESUS:  Jesus is God in the flesh. He paid for the sins of humanity through His perfect sacrifice on the cross and overcame sin and death through His resurrection God (1 Cor. 15:3-8 & Heb 1:1-3).

  3. HUMANITY: Humanity is the culmination of creation and we are created in the image of God.  (Gen. 1:26-31).

  4. THE BIBLE:  The Bible is a collection of inspired letters that reveal God’s will, purpose, and plan for creation and humanity (2 Timothy 3:16).

  5. SIN: Sin is our disobedience against God and His perfect standards (Romans 3:23).

  6. SALVATION: Salvation is a free gift from God to humanity through Jesus’ work on the cross. We receive God’s grace through faith that expresses itself through repentance , confession, and baptism (Rom. 6:1-4, 23 & Eph. 2:8-10).

  7. BAPTISM: Baptism publicly identifies us with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
