Our Leadership Team

The staff and leadership here at New Hope Christian Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them. 

  • Seth Bryant- Lead Minister

    A Roanoke native, Seth has over a dozen years of ministry experience and has degrees from Johnson University and Cincinnati Christian University.  His passions include teaching, leading, and building relationships.  He is a coffee and taco enthusiast, enjoys sports with boards (snowboarding, wake boarding, etc.), and likes to travel.  He and his wife Kelly have two children, a sponsor daughter overseas, and a dog.

  • Jason Summey- Student Minister  

    Jason and is wife Casey have lived in Roanoke since 2008. They have 2 beautiful sons, and a boxer. Jason graduated from Johnson University in 2005 and has been in Student ministry since 2004. Jason loves a good cup of coffee, playing guitar, having fun, and the occasional practical joke!

  • Amanda Hall- Children's Ministry Director

    Amanda and her husband Wes have two spirited, young girls named Cooper and Claire. Amanda enjoys coffee, time with friends and family, as well as simply building relationships. She loves meeting people and is an open book. God has been hard at work in her life and she loves sharing Him with others. Knowing how He has moved and shaped her, she is excited to see His will further New Hope and the children's ministry! 

  • Ryan VandeLinde-Worship Leader  

    Erin VandeLinde Children's Ministry Assistant

    Ryan and Erin joined the Eastern Dominican Missionaries in 2008. Ryan is now the Executive director of EDCM and they have 3 beautiful children,

  • Shaylynn Grant- Office Manager

    Shaylynn grew up all over the country and her heart was anchored to the Roanoke valley as a child. She moved back to the area in 2004 and later married her husband Nick in 2008.  They have young boy/girl twins and an older daughter. Shaylynn has a passion for Jesus, and the 3 C's- communications, community, and coffee.
