An update from Pastor Seth...

New Hope Family,

By now, I’m sure you have heard that Governor Northam closed Virginia Schools for the remainder of the academic year as well as issued an executive order closing non-essential businesses for the next 30 days ( https://www.governor.virginia.gov/newsroom/all-releases/2020/march/headline-855292-en.html ). As a community of faith, we want to both comply with these preventative measures AND to help the people of our church navigate the days ahead.

We plan to continue with ONLINE-ONLY worship services through Sunday, April 19, and to postpone activities in the building through the week of April 19-25. During this time, the church building will remain closed unless we are allowed to resume meeting together earlier.

The good news is that we have repurposed our staff and ministry in order to continue reaching the lost, making disciples, and meeting the needs of people in our community. Here’s a highlight reel of what you can expect from us over the next several weeks:
I know many people are struggling during this season, and I want you know that we are praying for you. If there is any wa y we can help, please email us at office@newhoperoanoke.com. Also, one of the best ways we can help is by giving online at http://www.newhoperoanoke.com/give or by donating food (information on our outreach page above). Your gift is making a difference and we will continue to make an impact here and around the world because of your faithfulness.

See you at CHURCH ONLINE this Sunday at either 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m., my friends! Grace and peace,

smb

Seth Bryant, Pastor
